My Mission
Isn't it surprising how easy it is to become malnurished, physically unfit, lonely in different ways, and constantly stressed during expat assignments - experiences that are meant to be life-changing in the best possible way? It doesn't have to be that way!
At gesundspot, I partner with you on your personal path to enhanced well-being, helping you to adapt to and embrace your life abroad with confidence and vitality.

About
My name is Simone Mewissen

Working as a Finance expat for more than a decade myself, I lived in New Zealand, England, Switzerland and the USA, before moving back to Germany (where I'm originally from and where all my family is living).
But, during those years, I also educated myself on anything health related and tried all the fancy -and less fancy- treatment options and diets out there myself ever since I remember (think continuous glucose monitoring, all kinds of yoga, pilates and meditation, ayurveda, cupping, accupuncture, personal training, vegetarianism, veganism, low carbism, ketoism, carnivorism, etc.). I went to India to do a yoga teacher training and another time to experience ayurveda in an as authentic way as possible. Furthermore I completed a training on Functional Nutrition and one on Strength Training for Women. In between I struggled with various health issues myself (especially digestive and hormonal disorders), got married and also had three baby girls.
Then I decided to shift gear, quit my job and become a Holistic Health Coach trained by an NBHWC accredited institute in the US.
Initially exciting life changes can become overwhelming easily, I know. But those apparent setbacks are actually a normal part of the process, and I am here to help you turn them into healthful growth!
